Review:

I really enjoyed reading “Fight For Me” by Bethany Bazile, it was a great sexy read. This is the story of Ryder and Lexi, childhood friends who re-connect after a tragedy. What I really enjoyed about this book was the set up. Although the focus was not on the characters past; the time and attention that Bethany Bazile places on it really forms a strong foundation for the reader’s understanding of the character’s behavior in the present. I read a lot, so I  see common themes and stories pop up from time to time, and I have to say Bethany put a nice twist/spin to the common UFC fighter story. Although there were still fight-scenes. There was more focus place on Ryder’s emotional mind frame, then his hot body. Although there was some of that in here as well.

Ryder was a breath of fresh air. He was loyal, protective, stubborn, dedicated, loving and sexy. His chemistry with Lexi was off the charts. I like one of the conflict in their relationship, it isn’t a conflict you see to often. I also really enjoyed Lexi’s character. I felt that she really grows throughout the book.  For everything that Lexi goes through, she is strong and she preservers. She is her own fighter.  I love how she does not allow people to walk all over her. If there was a hard situation or if she wanted to know the truth about something she would ask for the truth. This quality to face the situation at hand was refreshing. It made Ryder and Lexi’s connection so much stronger.

This was a really great read by Bethany Bazile. I really enjoyed “Fight For Me”. Ryder and Lexi were a great couple. I would recommend this read especially if you are looking for sexy fighter story.
